CSL Spice Slim Mi410

Who says that you have to fork out top dollar to get a high spec-ed Android smartphone? CSL certainly does not agree with this statement.
Before we get the part started, let me introduce our guest of the hour. CSL is actually a local Malaysian brand name which deals in selling mobile phones. They also have other products such as USB Modems, but handphones are still their main products. Most of the phones are feature phones, without any special OS to carry out special functions. But since the launch of Android OS for smartphones, things began to change.
One of their latest phones is the CSL Spice Slim Mi410. Some of the specifications are listed below:
- Android 2.2 (Froyo)
- 1ghz Qualcomm processor
- 512mb ram, 2Gb built in memory
- 4.1″ capacitive display with WVGA (480×800) resolution
- Wifi, A-GPS, compass
- HDMI out
- 1400mah battery
Look at all the specs of this phone, this can be considered quite a high-end phone which rivals other top selling Android phones such as the famous HTC Desire. If you are willing to depart with around RM2,000, you can easily bring the HTC Desire home. But how about those with a smaller pocket? Guess what, the Spice Slim Mi410 only costs RM1499 and this is even better than the Desire because this has a bigger screen (4.1″ on Mi410, 3.7″ on Desire) and even has a HDMI out so that you can connect your phone to a HDMI TV. Not to mention that HTC has this Sense skin that slows the Desire down although it makes the Desire look nicer. This is the cheapest phone in the range that you will ever find.
So, how about it? If you are on a budget, why not you consider this Mi410? It’s coming out soon and for this weekend (10th-12th December), they are having a show on at Lowyat Plaza so that you can ask the CSL people more about the phone.
